Concept supercar from Citroen to perform at Goodwood Citroen has announced the new cars that will be debuted in front of motorsport fans at the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

GTbyCitroen, a new concept supercar by the manufacturer, will be making its first run in public at the 1.16-mile Hill at the event at 9:00 (BST) on Friday, July 3rd and then five more times over the festival weekend as part of the collection of cars making up the supercar run.

Driving for the company on the Sunday is Dani Sordo - third runner in the World Rally Championship rankings at the moment - who will take on the Goodwood Hill as well as making an appearance on the Forest Rally Stage.

Near the Formula One paddock, the World Rally Championship area will be displaying the car used in the competition - the Citroen C4 WRC.

Entrance to the event is by advanced tickets only - so supercar fans need to get their tickets booked ahead of the weekend's event.

The Festival of Speed will take place from July 3rd to 5th at the Goodwood Estate.
