Renault to 'turn heads' at Goodwood
30 June 2009
Fans of motorsport will get the rare opportunity to see three Renault vehicles at the Goodwood Festival this weekend (July 3rd-5th).
A 1959 electric Dauphine Vehicle will appear at the event, on a break from its usual home in the Renault Paris museum.
The "pristine" and rare model is "set to bask in the Sussex sunshine and delight the crowds", Renault said.
For those who prefer the modern to the historic, two of the latest concept cars from the marque will also make an appearance.
The Ondelios and the zero-emission Kangoo - "which wowed the Paris Motor Show last autumn" will take to the Goodwood Hillclimb so spectators can see them in action in a demonstration.
According to Renault, the Ondelios is set to turn a few heads at the event due to its design - with gullwing doors, a body stretching to 4.8 metres and 23-inch alloy wheels.
Formula One drivers such as Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will be attending the weekend's events at the Goodwood Estate.
