Day 1 - Auckland
On arrival at Auckland airport you are met by your Tour Manager and transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is free. This evening you join your fellow travelers and Tour Manager for a welcome drink followed by dinner at your hotel.

Day 2 - Auckland
This morning enjoy a panoramic tour of the best that Auckland has to offer. See Westhaven Marina, the Waitemata harbour, the War Memorial Museum and more. Your afternoon and evening are free to explore Auckland at your own pace. Why not visit historic Parnell, Auckland's oldest suburb with its wooden colonial buildings housing boutiques, art galleries and cafes. For dinner this evening be sure to visit the Viaduct Basin with its wide range of restaurants.

Day 3 - Rotorua
Enjoy a visit to the Waitomo Limestone Caves en route to Rotorua this morning. Included in your visit is a boat ride into an underground grotto filled with thousands of glow worms. Continue on to Rotorua, the geothermal capital of New Zealand, where this evening you experience a traditional Maori Hangi (feast) for dinner. (BD)

Day 4 - Rotorua
Your day begins at Rainbow Springs, Rotorua's wildlife park and home to "Kiwi Encounter". It's then onto Hells Gate, an active geothermal area giving a great insight into New Zealand's geothermal history. The rest of today is at your leisure in Rotorua. Maybe you would like to stroll along the lake's edge and admire the wonderful views or perhaps visit the Polynesian Spa for a relaxing soak in the naturally heated thermal pools.

Day 5 - Wellington
Travel south today through fertile farming land and past some wonderful scenery to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city, which is set between a beautiful harbour and rolling green hills. Your evening is free to explore all that this vibrant city has to offer. Be sure to immerse yourself in the city's vibrant café culture, by sitting back with a coffee and watching the world go by!

Day 6 - Picton
This morning you board the Interislander ferry for your journey to the South Island. The views as you sail through the majestic Marlborough Sounds makes this one of the world's most spectacular ferry journeys! After arriving into the picturesque town of Picton you are taken on a wine tasting tour in the Marlborough region, home to some world renowned wineries.

Day 7 - Christchurch
Travel south down the beautiful east coast today through the whale-watching town of Kaikoura to Christchurch. Lunch is included in a local Kaikoura café. Christchurch is often described as the most English of New Zealand's cities. Punts glide down the picturesque Avon River, a grand Anglican Cathedral dominates the city square and trams rattle past streets with English names - Gloucester Street, Hereford Street. For dinner this evening perhaps visit one of many restaurants on Oxford Terrace.

Day 8 - Christchurch
After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic orientation tour of Christchurch, which includes the central city and the surrounding area as well as a stop at a lookout point for some wonderful panoramic views over the city. We visit the International Antarctic Centre, where the atmosphere and environment of Antarctica has been recreated in an exciting, interactive way. This afternoon is at your leisure to explore this compact city - wander along the banks of the Avon or climb the 134 steps to the top of the cathedral for some stunning vistas. Dinner this evening is included at your hotel.

Day 9 - Queenstown
A wonderful journey today through some of the world's most amazing scenery as you are taken through Lord of the Rings country. This whole region offers spectacular views of Mount Cook and the snow capped Southern Alps. You finish the day in Queenstown, New Zealand's adventure capital, nestled into the shores of Lake Wakatipu.

Day 10 - Queenstown
An exciting morning as you are taken on a jet boat ride that gives you an adrenaline rush you will never forget! From the moment the accelerator hits the floor, your adrenaline hits the sky as you power through the Shotover River and deep into its canyons. It's an amazing ride, as the Shotover Canyon's walls tower over you and your driver skilfully skims around crags and boulders. There is time this afternoon to enjoy Queenstown at your own pace. Why not travel on the Skyline Gondola, reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere, to a spot high above Queenstown where you can take in the breathtaking views of the region - Coronet Peak, The Remarkables mountain range and Walters Peak.

Day 11 - Te Anau
Head to Fjordland and to Milford Sound this morning where you board your boat for a scenic cruise along some of the world's most picturesque waterways. Discover the sights, sounds and natural beauty of Fjordland as you glide through the deep, ice blue water and marvel at the cascading waterfalls and sheer cliffs. Lunch is included on board and dinner tonight is enjoyed at your hotel.

Day 12 - Dunedin
This morning you journey through the unspoilt scenery of the southern South Island to the Otago Peninsula and the small, thriving city of Dunedin. Included today is a visit to the historical Larnach Castle and also a tour of one of Dunedin's biggest icons - Speights Brewery. Dinner tonight is at the first class Speights Ale House restaurant.

Day 13 - Christchurch
Today begins with a visit to "Nature's Wonders". Located on the Peninsula, it is arguably the most precious wildlife habitat in New Zealand and is home to penguins, fur seals and sea lions and many more in their natural and protected environment. From here you travel along the coastal road back to Christchurch. If you are lucky you may spot dolphins or whales playing in the ocean as you make your way north. This evening, to celebrate the success of your tour, a farewell dinner is enjoyed together at your hotel.

Day 14 - Depart New Zealand
Your adventure has now ended as you transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
