Ascot Racecourse – Racing with a CAMRA Beer Festival: Friday 25th & Saturday 26th September 2008.
Enjoy a great day of racing combined with the chance to sample over 180 beers, ciders and perries from predominately local craft brewers. Vote for your Beer of the Festival with free tasting notes provided to help you make your choice.
Beer vouchers are just £1.25 per half pint!

There will also be LIVE music on both days during the Racing!

Racing Summary-
Friday 25th September is the first of a three day meeting at Ascot. The feature race is The £250,000 Watership Down Stud Sales race for two year olds – which always attracts a huge field.

Entertainment Summary-
This is the start of the third Annual Beer Festival in association with CAMRA and Fuller’s; expect more than just exciting flat racing at this extensive regional Beer Festival as you sip on an array of speciality beers.

SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER – SONY FESTIVAL SATURDAY FEATURING THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II STAKES. 3rd ANNUAL CAMRA BEER FESTIVAL

-Racing Summary
A highlight of the Flat season and one of the feature race days of the Ascot calendar. The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes sponsored by Sony is Europe's top mile race and crowns the top miler in Europe. Also on the card are the Group One Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile and the Group Two Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes, for the top two year old milers. It was on this day in 1996 that Frankie Dettori went through the card winning all seven races and creating history!
