Our Grand national package takes you from your departure point straight to the heart of the races.
We can provide the standard Grand National packages or for those of you with a little more to spend we have hospitality deals on offer.
As part of our Grand National Breaks we are also able to create bespoke breaks for you and your guests including accommodation, tickets and hospitality .
All our offers include Grand National Tickets as standard. You can also choose to upgrade your tickets to all areas of the course. Pick and choose your preferences from the menu on your right. The options include Tattersalls, Earl of Derby, Queen Mothers stand and more. Please enquire if the tickets you are looking for are not shown.
The main race is held on the 10th of April 2010 but the festival starts on the 8th of April.
Thursday the 8th, will be a celebration of Liverpool's famous legacy of sport and music. It is impossible to ignore the Beatles, Lennon and McCartney and above all the ever present history of football in the city. Of course that is not forgetting the reason you are going in the first place: The Grand National itself.
Liverpool Day will witness top flight racing with the totesport Bowl, the BGC Partners Liverpool Hurdle, plus racing over the Grand National course in the John Smith's Foxhunters' Steeple chase.
Friday is Ladies Day at the Grand National
Nothing quite compares to Ladies’ Day at John Smith’s Grand National meeting. The Grand National has always held at the dawn of spring and that the fashion and style of its many female racegoers is truly a sight for sore eyes.
50,000 race goers attend the meeting, half of which are female. You can certainly say that the women know a good thing when they see it.
Recognised as a true ‘locals’ day, in recent years, the racecourse has rewarded its most Stylish Racegoer with a fabulous prize for the winner of its style contest. Last year the winners prize was worth over £35,000 and included a car, photo shoot with Jeff Banks, and a dinner at the Ivy, Not to mention an all-inclusive Caribbean holiday. It really is worth dressing up Ladies!
Coleen Rooney, (wife of England Soccer star Wayne) presents the prize to Aintree’s Most Stylish Racegoer on John Smith’s Grand National day.
The races themselves include the John Smith’s Melling Chase, John Smith’s Sefton Novices’ Hurdle, plus racing over the Grand National course in the John Smith’s Topham Chase.
Saturday
The eyes of the world turn to Aintree as forty of racing’s biggest stars set off in front of an audience of 70,000 at 4.15pm in a bid to win the world’s greatest Steeplechase.
Believe us when we say that it is one thing to watch it on the TV and quite another to smell, feel touch and hear the excitement of the spectators in attendance? Imagine the years of pleasure you will have when you have the chance to say to your friends " I was there when ..." won the National!
Who knows, this year could be the race when the next Red Rum emerges.
