The Canadian Grand Prix makes a welcome return to the calendar in 2010.
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is located on and island in the middle of the St Lawrence Island in the centre of Montreal and it has traditionally been a favorite for North American F1 fans.
Named after the sadly deceased world champion the circuit is a credit to Quebec. This most popular of venues is home to the famous WALL OF CHAMPIONS, a place where the right left jinking combination allows for some spectacular overtaking maneuvers. It also means that there are often huge crashes and there is almost always a safety car in the mix.
As always, the Canadian Grand Prix is a great value and hugely enjoyable race. The circuit has many of the tricks and attributes of street circuits and in many ways is comparable to Melbourne or even Monaco for the way that it tests the drivers.
From a fans point of view Montreal is a dream venue for a Grand Prix. There are plenty of good restaurants and the nightlife is excellent. Crime is very low in Montreal and best of all the ease of access to the circuits, viewing from the stands and value for money makes the Montreal Grand Prix one of the best options for spectators on the F1 calendar.
Pumpkin Tours packages offer a fantastic combination of seating, hotels and flights.
Departing from the UK our flights route you into Canada and our British tour guide will meet you at the Hotel. The Celebrities Hotel is a great new hotel that is ideally placed for the revamped Montreal Grand Prix.
Located in the heart of Montreal the rooms are stylish and spacious and all deals include breakfast. Once you arrive we are there to escort you to a few "fun" bars and restaurants for your first night in Canada. After that we accompany you to the race circuit and leave you to enjoy the races.
For guests arriving early there is the opportunity to attend a pit lane walk and get close to the cars, teams and drivers.
After the races on Monday we take you back to the airport and bid you a fond farewell. Guests who wish to extend their stay are more than welcome to ask about booking for longer but our team will be moving on in the great circus that is Formula 1.
The race is 189 miles long and circuit distances are 2.7 miles
We hope to see you in the land of Villneuve soon
