Day 1:
Flights depart the UK to New York where they will be met by our local representative and transferred to the hotel

Day 2 :
Day at leisure in New York

Day 3:
The group will be met at the hotel by our experienced guide and transferred North to the town of Newport Rhode Island where after a tour of the town we shall visit the Breakers Mansion before heading onto Cape Cod and overnight in the town of Hyannis at the Heritage House Hotel or The Hyannis Harbor Hotel

Day 4:
Today we will travel onto Cape Cod with a visit to the quintessential Cape Cod Village of Chatham, which boasts many antique and local craft shops and restaurants. Then we will proceed to the Cape Cods National Seashore, famous for its lighthouses and environmentally protected dunes. We will end at the cultural and artistic seaside town of Provincetown, for an afternoon of free time and discovery. Overnight Hyannis.

Day 5:
Drive to Falmouth and Woods Hole for the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Upon arrival in Vineyard Haven Guided Day tour of the Island including the other main towns of Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluff and Edgartown. Watch for the many film stars and other celebrities who call Martha’s Vineyard their home. Return to Woods Hole and overnight Hyannis.

Day 6:
This morning we depart Cape Cod and drive to the Pilgrim Town of Plymouth. A morning city tour including Plymouth Rock of course, shall be followed by a visit to Plymouth Plantation. This working museum depicts the way of life experienced by the early settlers, and includes a working recreated Pilgrim village, where the “town’s people” will interact with visitors and actually speak in the English dialect of the time. The plantation also has a recreated Indian Village, which is run by the descendents of the Cape Cod Indian population. Continue onto Dedham and overnight at the Hilton Hotel

Day 7:
Heading into Boston today for a half-day city tour, followed by free time in Boston. Evening transfer back to Dedham.

Day 8:
Today we head North to visit the North of Boston area. Our first stop shall be the battlefields of Lexington & Concord, where the shot that was heard around the world was fired, marking the start of the American war of Independence. We then head to Marblehead with stops at Castle Rock, which offers spectacular views of the rugged coastline. Then following the route through the opulent 18th Century mansions and homes, we end at the witch capital of the World Salem!

Overnight Dedham

Day 9:
Departing Dedham we head North West and into Vermont abound with Fall colors, with visits to Quechee Gorge and Woodstock, before arriving at our hotel on Lake Champlain, the Basin Harbor Club.

Day 10:
Heading further North we visit the town of Stowe VT with a tour of the Ben & Jerries ice-cream factory and learn how to Vermont Cider is produced at Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Continue onto Montpelier and learn all about Maple Syrup production at Morse Farm. Overnight Basin Harbor Club

Day 11:
Today we return to Boston where you'll enjoy some free time before transferring to the airport for the flights back to the UK

Morning arrival in the UK
