30th December 2010:
Welcome to Edinburgh!
The hostel is 100% reserved for Pumpkin Tours so you can arrive any time after 10am.

You will be met by our staff and allocated your room.

You have a choice of dorms and a very limited supply of twin rooms and family rooms are available.

That evening it is time to go out and party!

31 December 2010
No time for rest as this morning at breakfast your tour leader will issue you with your official Street Party Pass and you are free to take in all of the Hogmanay festivities.

We'll start with a massive group party for the New Zealand (11am) & Australian (1pm) New Year celebrations and continue on through the afternoon. As night falls it's time to head to Princes Street for the world famous street party to see in the New Year...Happy New Year!

1st January 2011:
Welcome to 2011. A late breakfast this morning or a lie in. Your call!

For the extra keen folk (or the loony ones!) we will be heading to South Queensferry after breakfast to watch the Loony Dook mid Winter swim. This event is fantastic and a refreshing way to start the New Year. Participants join together at 11am and then at midday are lead by a Pipe Band through the streets of South Queensferry and into the Forth. After the quick swim every participant is invited back to the local pub for a hot toddy and cup of soup, compliments of the owners. To make things a little more exciting the event is fancy dress!

Tonight the group will gather together for one last final party night in Edinburgh .

Friday 2nd January 2009:
All good things must come to an end and today our Hogmanay tour is over. After breakfast and check out and make your way home.

If you wish to drive yourself please be aware that parking is very limited in the city so you may be better off leaving the car on the outskirts for the weekend.

Itinerary: December 30th - Arrive in Edinburgh
Check into the hostel and meet up with the other guests.
We will be there to greet you and all you need to bring is your toothbrush, undies and beer money.

Then we get into the swing on the night of the 30th at our warm up party. There will be music and dancing galore.

December 31st 2010 We get into the spirit of New Years very early. At 10am we hook up with the Aussies and Kiwis as they open the celebrations down under! It seems a shame to waste a golden opportunity like that doesn't it? Three New Years or the price of one!

Later on that evening, we all head into Princes Street - Party passes are included - for the official New Years celebrations. The rest is up to you!

Jan 1 If you are still standing it is time to join us for a huge fry-up and buckets of coffee. We leave the rest of the day to you to recover. Chances are you'll be in bed until mid afternoon. Most people are!!!

Join us for the party of a lifetime! Here is exactly what you get:

Getting There: Book it yourself and save ££££'s

Traveling by HIGH SPEED TRAIN Travel by scheduled high-speed National Express East Coast (formerly GNER) train and you have 3 choices of departure times from Kings Cross on the 30th December, returning on the 2nd of January. Traveling by plane Call us.

We have some great fares and we are fully ATOL bonded agents.

Traveling by Car We suggest that you leave the car on the outskirts of the city and use one of the Park and ride options. Your vehicle will be safer and it is considerably cheaper than parking in the city at New Years. Remember to remove all valuables. If you are driving yourself please remember that alcohol can remain in your system for some hours after the party so try to appoint a designated driver or refrain from driving until you are certain that all the festivities have worn off. We can arrange an extra day in Edinburgh if required. It is far cheaper than a night in the cells and a driving ban!
